No frill but fits the need.
Date:
I bought this as an added security measure to keep little ones away from my firearms. It does that just fine so I am recommending it. However getting eight guns in this cabinet may be a stretch. If they are slim profile firearms like pump shotguns or lever action rifles then it will be no problem. If you have semi-auto shotguns or bolt action rifles you can get about 4 of them in this case. Lastly the styrofoam that is used to rest the barrels on is very thin. Therefore on scoped firearms arms, the scope contacts the wall of the cabinet before the barrel contacts the styrofoam.

Average and Acceptable
Date:
It is average and good for locking up guns. I needed something for a tight spot and a couple of my guns and this worked well because it was broken down and I could carry it in piece by piece and assemble it. If you can get an assembled one of then get it instead.

It's Alright
Date:
Follow the well written assembly instructions and putting it together is pretty easy. One nice feature is the ability to mount the door on either the left or right side. If you buy the cabinet in person and plan to haul it home yourself, I highly suggest asking a store clerk to open the box so you can inspect contents prior to purchase. The cabinet is made of aluminum and is easily dented. I did this and found one small dent, but it was easily fixed and I bought the cabinet anyway. The provided shelf is only 4 inches in depth and doesn't provide much space. DIYers can add additional shelves (check out youtube). All in all, it serves the function I bought it for, which was to expand my firearm storage space on a limited budget. No buyer remorse.
