Nice lightweight pistol rack

I am very satisfied with my purchase of this pistol rack. In reading some of the other reviews, all I have to say is you get what you pay for. For the price, this little pistol rack works perfect in my large gun safe to organize my hand guns and free up some much needed space. I bought several of these and placed them side by side along the back wall of my safe, here they are sturdy and hold my pistols so they can't touch each other. They work so well in fact that I am planning on purchasing more the next time I visit Cabelas.

Great little three gun rack for storing pistols in your safe. Inexpensive but covered with material that will not scratch your guns.

But not by much. I have had two of this rack side by side in the safe for a little over a year now. The sides tend to get mashed over by the weight of the handguns inside. They do hold the guns apart from one another, but the guns are often "slumped" over in a pile, like a stack of dominoes that were knocked over. It does help some if you pull the rack far enough front to get the cylinder or the trigger guard up against the slot, but then a lot of room in the safe goes to waste. I would not buy these again.

Flimsy sides and the three slots are large enough to hold a hand-cannon, with no way to downsize them for an average size pistol or revolver. There is an optional set of bolts you can buy, perhaps on their website, but I didn\u2019t bother to look \u2013 for something that cheap to produce they should have been provided with the product. Cabela\u2019s products are generally pretty good, but this one is a looser.
