Cabela's Adjustable Cross Member Guide-On

Prevents your boat from drifting sideways when loading. Mounted on a single steel stanchion to fit on the trailer's rear cross member behind the fender. 6-hole adjustment brackets attach with two U-bolts on each side and let you set about 3" of clearance away from the hull. Angle-adjustable hinge and NEW composite bunk construction. Note: These Load Guides will fit both single- and dual-axle trailers with a 3"-wide rear cross member. Please measure your rear cross member before ordering. Mounting hardware included.

Carefull for boat hull clearance

I bought these thinking they would be the best fit as you can adjust in and out plus the angle. The part that you bolt through to set the angle does not clear my boat hull. It left a big gouge and scratch in my brand new boat on both sides of my hull. Made me sick to my stomach.
I would have been better off with out and load guides at all.

Pricey, but this was the best solution for my trailer. Achieved perfect fit by home-made 2" shims between cross-member and guide-on's base.

Missing Parts

I received the cross-member guide on and noticed that parts were missing. The main guide-on parts were there, but I was missing most of the nuts and washers required to assemble it. I was able to purchase these items at my local "Big Box" store - it was easier than returning the guide-on - and I finished assembling the product.
