These durable, adjustable offset brackets mount on the trailer tongue to hold a roller for keel support. The offset is 1", and length of the bracket is 11-1/2". Mounts with 3/8" diameter bolts and uses a 5/8" diameter shaft for roller. Available:
This roller bracket is very durable. I had to make one minor mod to help make this roller work. I cut a piece of 1/2 copper pipe and slid it over the top bolt. The spacer was the same thickness as the tongue of the trailer. Without the spacer the supports pinched the roller if the top bolt was tightened up too much. I still give it 5 stars even with the mod because finding things built durable these days is a difficult task. The roller is smooth rolling.
My boat is 18ft long and my trailer only came with one Keel Roller so when I tried to launch into shallow water the keel of the boat would scrape against the long straight beam of the trailer. By adding an additional keel roller and spaced appropriately along the trailer eliminated my problem. Good Value.
This is used to secure the "Dog House". The 16 foot tiller I bought should have come with a keel roller bracket but did not. Cabela's came through again with a solid product and great service.
