A really solid bait

Spent yesterday and the day before picking off slab crappies and walleye in the shallows on a couple different colors of this tail. We used 2" and 3" of the crappie minnow and baby bass color. This might be called emerald shiner now. It looked the same. We also caught a few pike and pig gills on these as well. I've had good luck with them over the past several years.

The plastic is not soft like other grubs. I bought the crappie minnow thinking it had some glass/glitter like to it as the picture show online. It is a flat black and white grub. The emerald shiner was another HUGE disappointment. It is the same color-flat black and white with 1% tint of green only. WHERE'S THE NICE GLITTER LIME GREEN???
