Berkley® Gulp! Alive® Live Minnow Grub Bucket – Pint

  • 100% biodegradeable
  • Absorbs up to 20% more fish attractant by weight
  • Great for jigs, dropshot and live-bait rigs
  • Often outfishes live bait
  • Delivers natural action, scent and taste
Berkley’s Gulp! Alive!® Grub Bucket is an artificial bait that looks, smells and even tastes like the real thing to attract fish. It has 34% better swimming action than original Gulp!® Scientists at Berkley created this breakthrough super bait to bridge the gap between live and artificial baits. Similar in texture, appearance and scent to real bait, Gulp! Alive! baits also possess the color advantages, shape and action of soft plastics. Gulp! Alive! baits absorb up to 20% more fish attractant by weight than that of standard plastic baits. Gulp! Alive! baits use water-soluble, natural ingredients that release over 400 times the amount of fish-attracting scent of standard plastic baits. The scent trail is so intense that fish cannot resist it. And Gulp! Alive! baits are 100% biodegradable, so any that you lose while fishing will dissolve in the water in about nine months. Because Gulp! Alive! baits are made of natural materials, it takes nearly 36 hours of processing before they are packaged. Berkley leaned heavily during development of this new bait line on the expertise and field-testing of its pro staff, like Jay Yelas, Ken Cook, Larry Nixon and Gary Klein, and walleye experts Gary Parks, Al Lindner and Keith Kavajecz. For anglers who’ve awaited the day that technology successfully tapped the secrets of nature to produce a natural bait, it’s the dawning of a new era.

Most productive bait for flounder.
Date:
My wife and I do much flounder fishing because she likes to eat flounder. You have to get jiggy with it. Not the most fun fish to fish for because I like to top water fishing. I find that noting out produce it over all for flounder. It can be a catch all at times , specks, reds , and hardheads. Rig it with a spinner for cranking in the upper, middle ,and lower water colum.

Great Little Bait
Date:
I have a small boat and usually fish an electric only lake, that holds crappie, bluegill, large mouth... I try different baits such as spinners, regular grubs and of course night crawlers.
While I'm changing baits, my 15 year old grandson is pulling in fish after fish, using Berkly Gulp grubs.
The last time we went out he asked me why anyone would use anything else? He beats me with numbers every time. He thinks they are fantastic. Several catches on one bait, meaning more time in the water and less time re-tying. We even caught a couple nice crappie just trolling the line behind on our moves from spot-to-spot.
I think the student has taught his teacher. He's a regular teenager and I don't care if I catch anything, because he is learning a lot more out on the lake than he would be playing video games.
Grand Dads...take you grandchildren fishing...it's all about building memories together!

Great Product
Date:
I've used several of the Gulp products and they really work. They're very durable and I've had great success using them for crappie and walleye. I just wish they would come up with a container with a better seal.
