Great for ground-blind hunters. Stick the 6" reinforced steel rod into the ground and your bow is held upright, ready to shoot. Accommodates all compound bows. Rubber coated fork won't scratch your bow. Lightweight for easy backpacking and storage.
Most new bows are moving to parallel designs, like my Mathews, and this just does not hold it. I wasted my money not trying it before hand. There is a reason they do not show this holding a bow.
In wet ground the bow holder would tilt dropping the bow to the ground. I pushed it into the ground to the first bend and still the same thing. I had to position my bow so it acted as a counter weight and continously monitor it to keep it off the ground. You get what you pay for. This was no bargin.
I have used the bow holder a couple of times and have found it to be stable and quiet. It allows my hands to be free and the bow to be up and off of the ground. The only drawback is sometimes you have to kind of balance the bow in it for it to hold well.
