This fine jewelry line is hand-carved out of buffalo bone and then hand-painted for elaborate feathering detail. Each piece is meticulously hand-crafted in Colorado and signed by the artist, Silver Hawk. Birds of Prey earrings have two feathers each.

HANDPAINTING NOT DURABLE ENOUGH

THE BIRDS OF PREY FEATHER EARINGS WERE BEAUTIFUL, BUT THE BLACK PAINT STARTED WEARING OFF BOTH WHITE & BLACK FEATHERS. I NEVER WORE THEM IN THE SHOWER, NEVER SLEPT IN THEM, ONLY WORE THEM ON EVENINGS OUT, BECAUSE THE FEATHERS WOULD KNOCK TOGETHER, THE BLACK PAINT IS CHIPPING OFF.
I WILL BE TAKING THE EARINGS BACK TO CABELA'S.
THEY ARE LIGHTWEIGHT, STERLING SILVER STUDS, BUT THE PAINT ISNT DURABLE ENOUGH FOR NORMAL WEAR.
