I use this cover for the generator I use on my boat. It fits perfectly and is waterproof. The cover also features two velcro slots in the top so you can grab the handles of the generator while the cover is on. These slots also allow you to use a cable lock while the cover is on.

Yamaha EF3000 cover

I knew when I bought this cover that I would not be 100% satisfied with it since I'd already had the same type of cover on my older EF2400 Yamaha generator. I would like to see a little padding added to at least the front panel of the generator. It's a minor nit, so obviously it did not keep me from buying the cover for my 3000.
The fit is good, and the pocket for the manual, tools and battery charge cables is nice to have.
