Bought this at Cabelas to replace an existing feeder in October 2011. Assembled at home and then set up at our farm. Two cracks appeared in the drum in the first two days of putting into the field. Put duct tape over the cracks just to keep a feeder in the field. The poly drum is a piece of junk. I would not buy this product again. Don't make the same bad decision I did to buy this product.

I purchased this as a second feeder (I have been using the Cabela's brand feeder for the last 5 years) and thought I would buy a cheap feeder to use on another portion of my property. Unfortunately on several occasions the deer were able to knock the feeder over, this is the reason for only two stars. The other problem was the amount of battery this feeder seemed to use lasting only a few weeks on a 6V battery (My Cabela's feeder will operate several months using the same 6V batteries). This feeder has potential if the leg issue is addressed and improved upon. I really wanted to like this feeder however I eventually returned it for another Cabela's brand feeder.
