Wildgame Innovations 40-gallon Digital Directional Feeder

No more ladders! You can fill this feeder while standing on the ground. The 40-gallon polypropylene hopper holds up to 300 lbs. of corn. DX1 Digital Directional Dispersement control unit included. It can be set to dispense feed from one-to-four times per day for up to 20 seconds each time. The design is completely varmint proof and windproof. Powered by one 6-volt battery (not included).

I was having a few problems with this feeder when I got it. I contacted WGI for some help. They gave me a tip on cutting out every other fin in the feeder. This helped a ton in dispersing the feed. I would recommend making this change if you are having problems with it. Hope it helps you guys out.
This also helps with feeding my little fish in my little pond. It has become a great mutlitasking tool for me. Feeds fish in the spring and summer time. Feeds deer in the winter time.

It does jam easily. I also bought the screen to help get rid of junk in the corn and it helps but the feeder still jams.
My jams also decreased after I bought a rechargeble battery and solar panel. A lot of the jams happen because the battery is not putting enough power to the spinner. The battery has to be at half power or more to work properly.

Coons Cant get your Corn

I have been using one of these for two years now. It works well when you use two 6V Batteries and two solar chargers. Coons can't get to your corn. Stake your legs to keep them from spreading and indenting the barrel. Nice to have your corn in a line!

Terrible design on this feeder. the first gear gets jammed way to easy, and you have to have it set on 30 seconds if you it to throw more than 2 or 3 kernels of corn. Which also makes it eat batteries. out of the box the first gear didn't work. took back and got new feeder. then the second one only lasted about a month. Dont waste your money on this one.
