On Time Elite Solar Feeder with 200-lb. Tripod Feeder

You don't need to power your feeder with expensive batteries. With a high-impact, 360° wrap-around solar panel powering a six-volt rechargeable gel-cell battery (included), the Elite is the first fully self-contained solar-powered feeder. The solar panel is fully waterproof with air-tight seals, doesn't have any external wires or any glass panels to break. Motor is four-times larger than a standard motor, but uses less battery power. It is fully adjustable and has three motor speeds. It can handle up to six feedings per day and one-to-30 second run times. Aluminum housing with cast-aluminum funnel. The 200 lbs. Tripod Hopper includes a 200-lb.-capacity green polyethylene barrel with a quick-release lid. Also comes with a 2"-wide, clamp-style steel band with 3/4" stubbing for installation of legs. Legs come in three 30" sections each. New integrated funnel eliminates need for an accessory funnel. Not sold separately.

You will not be disappointed with this feeder. I read all of the reviews and was convinced that this feeder would serve my need. A couple things, I did purchase the tripod feet (sold seperately) and drilled holes to attach them to my legs. The legs come in 3 seperate sections with a starter pilot hole. I used that hole, drilled a pilot hole and screwed in metal sheet screws to hold them together. I also switched out the allen set screws with thumb screws making checking the display a bit easier. The diplay was simple and easy to set up and use. Great product and well built!

Sturdy, easy to program (with instructions). Helpful hint: take some duct tape to hold leg sections together until you get it standing and leveled. So far has kept charge with solar charger and has operated on times set. Good product!

I have had this feeder now for 4 years and still no problems. Where i have it set up it gets sun for only 8 hours a day in the summer time and i only have to recharge the battery once at the begining of the year. By far the best feeder for the price!
