you'll need this rechargeable battery

This rechargeable battery is a must..otherwise you'll be continually buying disposable batteries and needing to reset your feeder..The first purchase however was a dud which needed to be replaced..They last for ever..The varmint buster really takes its toll on the battery though, depending if your in an area where raccoons will do almost anything to get to the little bit of feed in the despenser..

Rechargeable Lantern Battery

I use these in my Moultrie game cameras & they work very well. The cameras are out in all kinds of weather & these batteries hold up for weeks. And they work in my lanterns too! Spend a little more now, & they seem to work forever.
