This cart will help you easily get your game out of the field without breaking your back in the process. Innovative zero-weight-on-the-handle design and low-profile axle assure maximum, nontip stability and help take the weight off the hunter to make transporting big animals easier. Tough, welded-steel construction for years of hard use. 24"-wide wheelbase. Dimensions: 63"L x 19"W. Weight: 33.5 lbs.
This cart works well and is sturdy. Bring extra straps as the two provided are not enough. Cart balances well with load. Camo finish would be nice (I painted mine camo colors).
Thanks to problems with my back I have dragged my last animal out of the woods. I bought this cart a couple months ago and have already used it to retrieve a couple of deer. I also use it to haul my stand back and forth to the tree. I would have bought this cart a long time ago if I had known how convenient it is to use and how much easier it makes the job of retrieving game.
This should handle what I need to use it for. I have had two miserable drags this year and will enjoy having this cart.
I am more unhappy about the wrong instructions included with my purchase. They were for a totally different Cabela's game cart. I will contact Cabela's for the proper ones so that I can be sure everything is correct. I used the picture on the box to make sure I was putting it together correctly.
I had to clean weld spatter from the axle tubes so that I could install them. Pretty sad.
Some of the paint was scratched from shipping as there was not any wrapping materials. The axles were cable tied to the wheel spokes, but they wer all broken and the axles wedged into the spokes of both wheels. What a mess.
It will do what I need but it is not what I would expect from Cabela's quality. Made outside of the US.
Used it to pull 2 different deer out with this cart and it was easy and simple. I did change the tie downs to rachet straps. I also greased the axle bolts with white grease and put 5/8 inch washers on eash side of the wheels to take up the slack. Finally iI tightened the lock nuts on the axle bolts so the wheels spun freely with min. slack and no binding
