You’ll end the meeting when mallard drakes are lured in by the soft, sweet hen sounds of this call. The Sweet Meet Duck Call comes in beautiful cocobolo with a clear poly insert or Electric blue acrylic with smoke poly insert. 1-1/2 reeds. Colors: Cocobolo, Electric Blue.
I love the call - when i can get it to make noise! It sticks with ANY moisture inside (and blowing calls creates moisture!) tone sound is great. I own several Grounds goose calls and think they're the best out there, but this one was a dissapointment (doubly so since i cannot return due to sanitary reasons). I would advise against this one.
This is a duck call I bought about a year ago. It has worked great since then. I havent used it hunting but about 6 or7 times and it worked good then. Although I have placed second and third in a duck calling contest behind an echo meat hanger and echo boss, not bad. The only disadvantage is that the reed will stick after you`ve blown on it for about 10-15 mins, straight.
What an absolutely awesome call for an outstanding price. I bought this from Tim last year at Cabela's in Ft Worth and couldn't be happier with the product. It turned the ducks even after being pounded! I Highly reccomend it, especially with the price of other calls going crazy.
Tim's Sweet Meat Duck Call is a good hunting call...If you don't want to pay 100.00-200.00 for some big name acrylic call, then this is a nice middle ground duck call...It also looks very nice, like it could be a top end call...With its 1 1/2 reed system, you can get up on the call for lound calling (you will not get the ring of a single reed call) but you also have the 2nd 1/2 reed for that natual double reed, hen mallard sound...If you like double reed calls but you also want a little more top end without mastering a single reed call, then this is a nice transition...Note; I found the reeds right out of the box to be a bit sticky when blown in cold weather...With very sharp sissors, I trimed the corner cuts of both reeds about 2 dog whiskers more and that started the reed quicker and stopped the sticking issue. Good Luck and Good Hunting...
