This was a Christmas present. The wood was excellent, so was the finish and grain, it was well built I put it together with glue even though it is not necessary. The only problem was where the hinge lays on top of the desk part that you write on the space that was cut out for the hinges was one inch bigger all the way around then the hinge, I cannot believe this was able to get past quality control because it was so obvious. I should have really taken it back. It is used for more of an accent piece then anything else so its closed 98% of the time.

Nothing special about this desk. Some holes didn't line up so had to modify myself. Desk top does not have any support under it when it is opened so don't plan on using it as a writing surface. Would not recommend this product. Thought it was "pretty cheap" compared to other Cabelas's products.

Loved it......It was actually easy to assemble.....even for a 60 year old......the craftmanship was beyond expectations....my sister-in-law wants to order one........as always Cabella's is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!A happy customer

I was very pleased with the desk. Cabela's was very helpful in this purchase and followed up with various formats to assure me that the item was scheduled for shipment. I was informed of all delays and afforded opportunities to either cancel my order or to continue to await its shipment. Cabela's needs to hurry up and locate a store here in Colorado!
