Rain Suede has been a Cabela’s staple for many years. Our Rain Suede, with Evolution fabric, takes the original and makes it even better. In order to even consider replacing our original Rain Suede, the new fabric had to be perfect. Evolution was that fabric. It’s softer and quieter than our original Rain Suede, but retains the same exceptional breathability of the original. Plus, the microdenier polyester allows camo patterns to print with extremely vivid detail that never fades. The shell fabric is backed with 100% waterproof/breathable Dry-Plus and has an EcoNano™ durable water-repellent finish, which keeps water rolling off the garment, even under extreme pressure when kneeling or crawling. With just a few quick shakes and a couple "brush-offs," the fabric is as dry as when you started the day. It’s your first line of defense against all types of moisture. You can wear it in a downpour and it will be ready to wear again the next day without having to run it through a dryer. Evolution is also extremely versatile, so one investment will see you through multiple hunting seasons. And, to make this line of rainwear even better, it is available with odor-adsorbing Scent-Lok®. Moisture-wicking mesh liner provides next-to-skin comfort. Two zippered slash pockets create ample storage space and are lined for warming chilled hands. A snap-close storm flap over the YKK® zipper and hook-and-loop-adjustable cuffs deliver added protection from moisture. Visored three-piece hood with drawstring and cord lock at the rear. Double-reinforced forearms. Underarm gussets. Imported.

Fantastic Jacket

Wanted to have a superb quality camo,scent-lok and totally waterproof jacket for an outer garment in mild or cold weather in case of rain/snow. This is the finest rain jacket I've ever owned. It is completely tight, you don't sweat in it during downpours and the hood acts like a nice brim so my eyeglasses stay dry. Next I must buy the pants!

I have yet to have this garment out in the field; however, i am impressed with it's overall initial quality. The parka is just the right size... not like some parkas who's length exends to mid-thigh. I'm 6'1, 205 and an XL fits me well whether I'm sporting a T-shirt undernearth, or 3 layers for warmth.
The factory "Shell" is a TOUCH noisy - but I'm sure that will go away after a few uses. although there are only two slash pockets and one hidden chest pocket, they provide adequate room for your essential gear - they are also nicely lined so you can warm your hands quickly.

One of the most useful pieces of clothing I have ever purchased. Was wearing when I shot my deer. Quiet and waterproof - protected me from the rain and wind. Pine sap did not stick to the material. Endures scraping against trees and shrubbery. Highly recommended!

This jacket is perfect for the mid season deer hunts that I go on. Its roomy enough i can fit an extra layer in the morning and in the afternoon its light and comfortable
