Our Whitetail Extreme Parka gives you protection from the elements, quietness, durability and an exceptional fit. The GORE-TEX Scent-Lok fabric combines the waterproof protection and breathable comfort of GORE-TEX fabric with odor-absorbing Scent-Lok. Articulated four-piece sleeves give you the freedom you need to effortlessly draw a bow, shoulder a rifle or climb up to your tree stand. The 200-gram Thinsulate™ Supreme Insulation in the body and 150-gram in the sleeves seals in your body’s natural warmth. Four lower fleece-lined cargo/handwarmer pockets provide ample space for gloves, ammunition and other accessories. Two upper vertical pockets are specially designed to accommodate binoculars and calls. Two internal pockets, adjustable elastic cuffs, waist and lower drawstring. Four-piece visored hood with two drawstrings. Imported.
Tall sizes: L-3XL. Extra 2" body, 1-1/2" sleeve length.

Super Warm - Super Comfortable - Lots of Pockets

This stuff is the best stuff you can buy. I use it exclusively during late season bowhunting in Northern, MN. You WILL NOT get cold in this jacket and you need very minimal layers underneath. I have used it in rain, snow, wind, blizzard conditions and it has always performed flawlessly. I am 6'4" 210 lbs. I ordered a 2XL Tall and it fits perfectly. I do wonder what the XL Tall would have been like, maybe less bulk? The only reason it did not receive 5 stars is because it is a little noisy for bowhunting at close range on a quiet day. The material, though "quiet" is definitely not silent, but nothing windproof/waterproof is silent. There are a ton of pockets on this thing. Cords to cinch up extra material/wind drafts/etc. Just an overall great piece of clothing. It is worth every penny whether it is on sale or not. I have the vertigo patter and again, tops! I would recommend this if you need to stay warm.

The Good and The bad

I wanted to withold judgement on the Whitetail Extreme Parka and Bibs until I got a chance to test them out. I've since hunted in cold with wind and they performed extremely well. I have also hunted in very rainy conditions and the waterproofing was equally impressive. The only bad mark I give this is noise level. When walking you can hear the fabric "crunching" . I would NOT recommend this product for someone concerned with noise. I would strongly recommend for people who want to stay dry and warm. Most of my hunts have been in 30 degree range and up. I've only had to wear jeans and a sweat shirt under this and have been plenty warm for over 3 hours in the stand. For fit, I like things a little on the baggy side. I'm 6'1" 180 and went with the XL Regular and XL Coat and both fit very comfortably. I tried the L Tall but in the bibs but it felt too tight. The L coat arms felt a little short on me. I hope this helps.

This is an awesome coat with only one reservation. Initialy it is pretty noisy. I think it is quieter now that I've worn it for a while. This coat is warm! Not for use early season. As with the Cabelas tradition, great design, lots of pockets, powder skirt and warm pockets. I did not think I would like the hood, but now I love it.
