Military Spec Tru-Spec Rip Stop BDU Shirt/Jacket – Regular

The lightweight, durable 100% cotton rip-stop construction is made to U.S. military standards. The shirt/jacket has reinforced elbow patches, and the four-pocket design includes two pockets with drain holes on chest and two lower pockets. All pockets have snag-proof button flaps, along with a snag-proof, concealed-button placket. These garments also have adjustable, three-button cuffs. Imported.
Sizes: S-2XL.

I bought this jacket for hiking through heavy brush and working outside. It's actually performed better than I expected, I can push through heavy brush without even noticing it thanks to the reinforced arms.

I ordered a large size, and the sizing is right on the money. The shirt is tapered a bit in the middle, so keep that in mind if you think it'll be a tight fit.
Multiple pockets, hole for a pen, that's a nice touch. Sleeves might be a little long, but there are buttons to adjust cuff so it won't look too long.
I would like to see this shirt in OD green.

I got this shirt/jacket with the pants and hat a few weeks ago and they have really out done themselves. Before I wrote this review I used them for hunting, fishing, shooting and other outdoor activities to see how well they were made. When hunting they didnt tear or catch when I went through a ton of brier patches and the pockets worked great for carring my knife, ammo, and lunch. When I tried them for fishing the pockets worked out great for carring things and I was actually not very hot standing in the sun. Pretty much the same thing for shooting too and working in the garage and camping. So take my word for it there strong, durable, a little stiff at first but after 3 or so washes there fine, and a great thing to have.
