Cabela's Dry-Plus® Rain Suede™ Evolution Packable Parka – Regular

  • Fabric is softer and quieter than ever
  • Waterproof, breathable Dry-Plus
  • EcoNano durable water-repellent finish
  • Three-piece hood
  • Double-reinforced forearms
Rain Suede has been a Cabela’s staple for many years. Our Rain Suede, with Evolution fabric, takes the original and makes it even better. In order to even consider replacing our original Rain Suede, the new fabric had to be perfect. Evolution was that fabric. It’s softer and quieter than our original Rain Suede, but retains the same exceptional breathability of the original. Plus, the microdenier polyester allows camo patterns to print with extremely vivid detail that never fades. The shell fabric is backed with 100% waterproof, breathable Dry-Plus and has an EcoNano™ durable water-repellent finish, which keeps water rolling off the garment, even under extreme pressure when kneeling or crawling. With just a few quick shakes and a couple "brush-offs," the fabric is as dry as when you started the day. It’s your first line of defense against all types of moisture. You can wear it in a downpour and it will be ready to wear again the next day without having to run it through a dryer. Evolution is also extremely versatile, so one investment will see you through multiple hunting seasons. Because the fabric compacts easily, each piece can be rolled and stuffed into its own pocket for storage. Moisture-wicking mesh liner provides next-to-skin comfort. Two zippered slash pockets create ample storage space and are lined for warming chilled hands. A snap-close storm flap over the YKK® zipper and hook-and-loop-adjustable cuffs deliver added protection from moisture. Visored three-piece hood with drawstring and cord lock at the rear. Double-reinforced forearms. Underarm gussets. Imported.
Sizes: S-3XL.
Camo patterns: Realtree AP™, Seclusion 3D® Open Country®, Seclusion 3D®, Mossy Oak Break-Up® Infinity™, Outfitter Brown™.

Cabela's Dry-Plus? Packable= The Best !
Date:
size as described. snaps and zippers made putting them on over hunting boots a snap, pun intended. Material is quiet in the woods and rainproof. although temperatures rose, never overheated so it must breathe as well.

Not rain gear
Date:
I'm an Alaska guide. Don't waste your money on this. It has me soaked in about an hour in normal Alaska rain. It is a good wind breaker, but definitely not a real rain coat.

wet in the woods
Date:
Experienced total failure of rainproof qualities while sitting in my ladder stand. It appeared to be around the sewn loop on the back between the shoulder blades. Cabelas refuses to replace jacket without prorating its value to this point but we are still discussing it. Only wore the jacket 6 to 10 times up to the point of failure. Cost too much to have such a short life span. Am looking for a better quality jacket.

Outstanding Rain Gear!
Date:
Hunting and fishing for 60 years and have owned many "raingears". Just completed 2 separate bow hunting trips to Ohio and hunted in 10 days of solid, wind blown rain. NEVER GOT WET! Dry-Plus is a must for the avid bow hunter!
