Created as an enhanced addition to our E.C.W.C.S. program, Thermal Zone technology provides all-around versatility for a variety of weather conditions and situations in the field. Thermal Zone utilizes all three E.C.W.C.S. fabric weights combined into one garment. The weights are strategically placed in body-mapped areas to provide the ultimate in thermal regulation. The heaviest Polar Weight is used in core and maximum-exposed areas to provide optimal heat retention for the most critical zones. The Mid Weight fabric is employed in less critical areas that still receive substantial exposure. The lightest Tech Weight is located in high-heat-output areas that are prone to excessive perspiration. Tech Weight is also along the cuff areas to minimize bunching that can cause discomfort and reduced circulation to the extremities. Thermal-regulating dual-surface Polartec Power Dry wicks moisture to the surface for quick-drying action. Its antimicrobial treatment keeps it fresher between washes. Flatlock seams reduce chafing. Drop tail and thumbholes. Imported.

This is a great base for spring and fall. I liked the thumbholes, but the sleeves were a bit long when not using the "hobo gloves". The long zipper made it easy to vent on long walks between fishing holes. This is a huge plus when you're far from the truck, and shedding layers means still having to carrying them with you. My biggest beef: the neck, while stretchy, is too tight when zipped all the way up.

Warm and Comfortable

This is the first time I\u2019ve tried wearing a pullover with different thickness layers (Thermal Zones) and I really like it. I\u2019ve been hunting the past few weeks, wearing this over an under armor mock turtle neck. I have found that it does not feel bulky at all, however keeps me very warm and comfortable. I\u2019m not a big fan of the wristlets, I have been rolling up the last 2-3 inches of the sleeve which has worked fine.
