Obenauf's Heavy-Duty Leather Preservative – 8 oz.

Originally developed for the severe conditions endured by wildland firefighters, Obenauf’s LP protects, preserves, restores and adds water repellency to many types of leather. The beeswax/propolis suspension formula provides a time-release lubrication to inner fibers while the leather’s surface is reinforced against scuffing and remains breathable. The formula contains no harmful silicone, petroleum or solvents, and is odorless after applied. Goes on easily with with a clean cloth. Made in USA.

the best i've ever used

Just used this on a6 yr old pair of Danner pronghorns. It is as good as they say it is. The 8 oz container should last for many years even with multiple pairs of boots.

This product resuscitated my Cabelas kangaroo upland boots of 4 years and hundreds of miles. This spring, working my dog, I had wet, not damp socks after walking in wet grass, despite the GoreTex lining, and was ready to heave 'em. I had faithfully used mink oil preservative since the purchase. Two treatments with Obenauf LP and I have been dry through 8 days of SD and Iowa mud, creeks, and briars, and another wet week of Ohio deer gun season. I'll never be without this in my leather care again.

This stuff is incredible! As a hotshot I am more than hard on my boots. Obenauf's is the best LP out there. Protects against the heat from wildfires, salt in your sweat, and fire retardants.
