Warm as toast and comfortable on a cold Alabama winter morning deer hunting. Not made for trouncing around the woods in but excellent for stand hunting or taking to a cold ball game.
Bought the Boot Blankets for stand hunting deer in Michigan. The Boot Blankets kept my feet warm. The material on the bottom the boot can be noisy if you slide your feet on the floor of a box blind. Outside on dirt, grass, or snow there isn\u2019t a noise problem. I hook the Boot Blankets on my backpack and only put them on when I am situated in my hunting spot. I wear a size 12 hunting boot and the XL size worked perfectly. This was a good buy for a stand hunter.
Easy on - Easy off, keeps my feet warm. I'm up 6 feet in a hunting blind with wood deck floor. So it does the job. In the off season, the wife steals them to keep her feet warm at her desk in our shop.
no product is perfect. and no 1 product fits everybody's needs and expectations. but i would recomend this product for anyone looking to sit long hours on stand and feel impervious to the cold. Coupled with my Cabelas Stand Hunter Coveralls, I can sit through any cold weather as long as it takes.
CONS - they are al ittlle bulky to pack in - they could be a little quieter, especially for bow hunting (they're not horrible, just being picky)
PROS - keep your feet warm and toasty in the coldest tempearatures - enable you to take 1 pair of boots in the field, and not have your feet overheat on the hike in. - easy to put on and take off in any treestand - make a more enjoyable hunting experience - can let a less weathered hunter wear them to ensure they stay warm and enjoy their first hunting experiences
i have always suffered form cold toes and was why i ususally got down from my stand...not anymore...more time on stand means more chances to harvest a monster
