I applied 3 coats to my Timberland hiking boots. Worked out ok when boots were exposed to a little moisture but had wet socks all day after a couple really wet steps in puddles. Not sure its the waterproofing or the boot construction. No question for light moisture it works fine.

I like this product because it does not darken the suede on my boots and because when combined with the gore tex liner my feet don't get wet when I walk in wet grass and they clean up nicely. I buy a can every time I get a new pair of 974 New Balance shoes.

Worked well I used it on camo bibs, gloves and jacket. The Water Proofer water proofed the clothing and wind proofed also. The product did a great job on my boots. MY grandsons and I are duck hunters. Water Proofer worked all season for us.
