    Great bags
    Date:
Good quality and rather durable in the freezer- just be sure to get the air out of the bag (not that hard to do) use a tape roller and presto. The 1 pound bags easily hold 1.5# of ground venison if filled to a "normal" level. I agree about .25 inches below the black line gives you pretty close to a pound.

    great idea, great product

I have been using these bags for 2 years now and I pulled out a bag from the freezer from last year. every bit of meat was in good condiction it just as good as vacum sealing the meat pushes out all the air then twisting the top tight and taping it . the one pound bags or exactly that if you fill about 1/4' from the black line. great for stoarge and portioning out. with a grinder and sausage stuffing attachment you can work and process an average deer in about two hours start to finsh.
