Simply place ground meat on a restaurant-grade paper sheet in the press, put another sheet of paper on top and press down. Excellant product. Easy to use and very easy clean-up. My husband bought this for me as a gift. Sure is easier than my plastic and metal patty makers. Does two patties at one time! Any ideas on how to vaccume seal without flattening the edges of the patties? I separate each patty with wax paper and usually vaccume seal four patties in a pack.
Once I figured out how to regulate the amount of meat to put in the press it came out great. I would not attempt it without the papers. They keep the press clean and make it easy to put the patty on either the grill or the skillet. I have needed one for year - now I have one.
Aft er I make the patties I simply clean the press with a anti-bacterial wipe. Simple!
