So I purchased one of these a few weeks ago and just the other day used it for the first time. I made five pounds of venison jerky. It worked just as directed. The only thing I would recommend is to keep a close eye on it as it tended to cook a bit faster for me then it described in the booklet. Great value. If your looking for a quick fix to make some jerky, I would highly recommend. No bells and whistles but it gets the job done.
