Best Christmas Gift Ever

This is probably one of the best gifts I have given my husband. He has used it several times already for jerky. It works great and I got it at an excellent sale price! I can't wait until he lets me use it for dried fruit. Not sure when that will happen. Oh well, he is happy so that's all that counts.

All I need and more too

Have used this dehydrator extensively to dry raspberries, blueberries peaches, apples, onions, herbs, cherries and fish. It is very easy to use and has a larger capacity than previous dryers that I have used.

Takes forever to dry!

I was very dissatisfied with the extended drying time with this dehyrdrator. Purchased another brand through Cabela's and did the job in half the time. Would sure help to have a door on the dehydrator.

Very dissapointed

I tried to upgrade from a cheap round style dehydrator. My old $29 dehydrator ran rings around this Cabelas Heavy Duty. The Cabelas would not dry evenly, and would not even dry the same from front to back. I would not recommend this unit to anyone.
