Love the quick action
Date:
This knife is light weight, sharp, and has a quick opening action assist built in. The clip on the knife allows easy access in your pants pocket. I use this knife on a daily basis when out and about or in the field.

mediocre knife
Date:
With this knife I dont beleive you get the bang for your buck. You can spend the same amount of money for a way better knife. For example, the griptillian made with D2 steel from benchmark its an absolute gem.

A truly excellent knife
Date:
I have owned the SOG Trident for about a year now and and am very impressed with this knive's quality. I've owned knives from most of the major name-brand makers, Buck, Case, CRKT, Kershaw, Gerber, etc., and while they all make good knives, the SOG is by far a much better knife. The blade is strong and stays sharp, the knife is well balanced and feels good in my hand, and the SOG Assist Technology opening mechanism is absolutely reliable and very easy to work.
