The 3.38" 8Cr14MoV stainless steel blade has a high-hollow grind, modified drop point and patented Veff™ serrations on the back half that make quick work of cords and vegetation. Layered, textured, CNC-machined G10 scales, along with a deep finger choil and pommel, make the Ignitor feel like a natural extension of your hand. I have carried this knife for 5 months now nearly everyday. Holds its edge alright (rehoned twice). Pocket clip is high so knife rides low on pocket, but comes loose with lots of use. Serations work great on cordage, pvc tubing, small branches. Great knife for everyday useage and the outdoors.

Well i first bougth this kinfe well on vacation and did not get to use it for that week. but 2 days after i got back it was siting in my pocket when i went to take it out a hit the thumb release and it did not open this is because the whole thumb assit had come apart there for it is stuck shut. but CRKT is a great company and are quite happy to fixe it for me.(mind you i have to pay to ship it there but thats ok) no questions asked. the part that really buges me is that i did not even get to use it. Any way so i should have it fixed in the next week or so. but from what i had seen from it it was awsome.

great knife!

This knife rocks! I purchased it as a 'daily carry' knife, and have carried it nearly everyday since. the one handed opening system works very well. the blade came sharp and stays sharp. feels solid, but not too heavy.
