I just dressed a deer with this knife and was unsatisfied with the performance for several reasons. the knife is extremely slippery because of its metal handle, the G-10 scales are not large enough to provide sufficient grip. the gut hook was chipped and bent after opening the body cavity. while the knife came shaving sharp it only stayed that way for about 5 minutes! quickly losing its edge and requiring a second knife to finish dressing and skinning. because of its closed back it is also difficult to clean.
