I purchased 2 of these for a 12 foot jon boat, I just wanted something cheaply priced and wasn't expecting quality or comfort. When I mounted them in my jon boat I was very pleasanty surprised at the level of comfort, looking at the photo they dont look like they would be comfortable, but they are very comfortable, and they have a very sturdy feel to them also, very solid. Having a Ranger bassboat I have a feeling for quality, comfortable, seating in a boat, this economy seat blew me away with the comfort factor. Thanks Cabelas.
