Control Post Pedestal/Seat System

Adjusting from a completely flat position to 90° upright, the Control Post guarantees complete custom-like comfort during even the longest days on the water. The secret to its unmatched adjustability is an innovative ball mount. Simply loosen a friction knob on the rear of the mount and effortlessly position the cushioned seat anywhere you desire - upright for enhanced lower back support or at an angle to take pressure off your legs. The die-cast aluminum Power Rise pedestal offers instant height adjustment at the touch of a two-way lever. And it’s machined to .002 tolerances for wobble-free performance.

Control post pedestal seat system
Date:
After two of these, I am totally disappointed. Both never lasted more than 6 months. I can't understand why they are nearly $200. There isn't much to these pedestal/seats. They are not repairable either.

tournament ease
Date:
After retiring I once again started tournament fishing. Being in my late fifties, it became very difficult to stand all day as I did at a younger age. The standard "pro pole",with it's wide butt seat, just got in the way, making it difficult for two to fish in the front of the boat, along with failing to relive lower back strain.
My new control post, with it's thin profile, now gives me all the room needed to fish two in the front, while providing me the leg and lower back relief for long days on the water.
Fishing has become a joy. My ability to concentrate has once again put me in that fish catching zone. Thank you for carrying such a fine product.

PERFECT FIT
Date:
MY DECISION TO PURCHASE THE CONTROL POST PEDESTAL
WAS DUE TO LIMITED SPACE ON A 15 FOOT CONVERTED ALUMINUM V BOTTOM. WISHING TO MAINTAIN AS MUCH ROOM AS POSSIBLE IN THE BOW. I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE
FOR MY CIRCUMSTANCE, IT ALLOWS ME TO LEAN WHEN FULLY EXTENDED, OR SIT AT A LOWER POSITION AND LEAVES AS MUCH ROOM AS POSSIBLE TO MANUEVER FROM FRONT TO BACK AND AROUND THE PEDESTAL. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A POWER FISHING PEDESTAL, MY OPINION IS THIS IS THE ONE. YOU DO HAVE TO GET OVER THE PRICE FOR THIS UNIT, A BIT PRICEY, BUT SO FAR HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE SEAT OR PEDESTAL.
