Attwood Centric™ SAS Boat Seats

The Centric™ SAS Boat Seats use Centric's innovative Shock Absorbing System (SAS) that flexes 3" to prevent "bottoming out." The springs absorb energy and reduce shock, while the isolated suspension provides 3" of travel and does not allow the boater to bottom out against hard surfaces. Impact is absorbed by the suspension system – not the boater. The seat core is ergonomically designed for maximum back support with side bolsters to provide lateral support. The compressed suspension system keeps you in the seat, not on it. Molded foam specifically fits the ergonomic contours of the SAS seat core. "Waterfall" front ensures proper circulation behind the knees.

BLISS on a bad back

I fished out of this seat for a couple of years, and loved it from day one. It's by far the most comfortable boat seat that I have ever used.
AND THEN, I was in an accident that broke my spine in 7 places, and now I LOVE this seat more than ever. I wouldn't be able to stay on the water nearly as much as I do without this seat. It's really great for back or neck pain.
Also, I'm 6'6" 285 lbs and have been trying for 5 years to wear this thing out and I'm still impressed with how well it's holding up under me.

Bought 3 to replace the single pad seat on my 2003 hewes Refisher 21. Pretty pricey, but the ride is amazing compared to the old seat. Felt like I was floating on air in a 2-3 foot chop in Charlotte harbor

Awesome Seats!

I bought these seats for my 18ft aluminum boat. We live on the Central Coast of British Columbia where we often find ourselves in big seas. The seats never bottom out and provide great back support regardless of the conditions. One thing to consider is that because they don't bottom out, they make you sit a little higher than in other seats. This isn't a problem as long as you are careful mounting them.
