Doesn't hold up like the old model.

About 12 years ago, I bought an Outdoor Range target. There were 3-4 of us shooting that thing constantly. It held up beautifully for years. We left it outside year round, and the only trouble we had with it is when the cover needed to be replaced after thousands of shots and about 5 years of service. After a few more years of use, it was finally time for a new target. 2.5 years ago I bought a new Outdoor Range target and I have to say that I am very disappointed. First of all, last year the plastic cover became very brittle and started falling apart. It was still under warranty, so Morrell's sent me a new cover. The problem now is that there is a huge soft spot in the bottom half of the target, and my arrows are passing through and getting hung up on my fletchings. This makes the arrows very difficult to remove, and I usually end up tearing off my fletchings in the process. I've tried laying the target on it's side and jumping up and down on it to redistribute the stuffing (which appears to be cotton/poly fluff, where the old model used plastic window screen), but that only works for a few shots before my arrows start passing through again. My arrows are traveling at a modest 270 fps, so speed is not an issue. I do not recommend this target to anyone.

Super Target. I tried most other targets and this is the BEST target on the market. Great for long distance shooters. Easy arrow removal. "0" pass throughs from bows and crossbow shooting extreme FPS (350+). Great Item, Great Price.

Horrible target

Horrible target for pulling arrows. Even with field points smaller diameter than the arrow shaft, I had a terrible time pulling arrows. Had to literally stand on the target to pull them.

I have had this target for at least 5 years! Outstanding durabilty, easy arrow removel. Its size makes it the best for long range shooting. If you hang this target ( where it can swing) you will increase its life by 2 fold. This target has taken thousands of shots and still stops arrows pretty well. Did I mention that Ive had it for 5 years and its been out in the weather the whole time.
