I've bought these several times & love how easy they are to finish off. The last batch, however, had some of the hook grooves cut off from the center of the body. I think they will still work but quality should be monitored better by the manufacturer.
These are the best things since sliced bread. Super glue in a standard popper hook for the size you're using and let dry. Paint on a primer and let dry. Paint on your favorite color/pattern and let dry. Paint on eyes and let dry. Tye on the tail. finish with a coat of Hard as Nails. Legs are optional but I don't use 'em.
Very simple to use and nice, quick way to make poppers for sunnies and crappies. I found the best way to attach them was by applying a thread base to the hook, pushing the body on, using super glue to secure, then painting/marker coloring the body before covering with epoxy or better a UV curing acrylic like bug bond or CCG. In a single night, I was able to tie up 10-12 poppers and have a ton of fun doing it.
