Ross Reels F1® Fly Reel – Black

Inspired by the braking systems on Formula 1 race cars, Ross’ F1 fly reels integrate durable, heat-resistant carbon fiber and stainless steel into a drag mechanism with eight independent contact points, creating the smoothest and most dependable drag system available. A full 2 square inches of carbon-fiber drag surface promotes unsurpassed stopping power and heat dissipation. Carbon-fiber stabilizer with two fully sealed stainless steel ball bearings ensures a precision fit and smooth rotation of the spool. A fully sealed Ross proprietary clutch bearing enables retrieve conversion without removing the bearing – an industry first. 10 separate O-rings completely seal the system, making it totally impervious to the drag-changing effects of water. One-piece frame and one-piece spool are fully machined from 6061-T6 proprietary aluminum alloy. Manufacturer’s lifetime warranty. Made in USA.
