This reel may not be the prettiest reel on the market, but that's not what catches fish. This reel is ridiculously smooth and durable, which is a must for the way I fish. For the price, this is the best reel out there!

One of the best fly reels.

Great reel. A little pricy but I feel its worth it, plus they still make them in the USA and have a good warranty. Mostly use it for steelhead fishing. Great drag. Ross has always made good quality reels.

I have CLA 4 and 6 - Bonefish, reds, trout, permit and tarpon. Held up to the all. Saltwater, dropped on rocks, dropped in boat. Keeps going.
