This is an absolutely great reel for the money. It's light weight, super smooth and expensive looking. The drag is steady and as firm as you want. Great buy!

I just bought this reel from my local Cabela's. I have got to say this is the best reel for the money if your just starting out or a 40 year veteran this is the reel for you. Paired up with a Three Forks 9' 5wt you can't beat it.

A honey for the money

I bought this real to put on a shorter rod that I use for a small to mid-size stream that I fish regularly. I found on the first outing that it is a very good reel. My only complaint was that the drag was a little "loose" and turns almost too easily and is hard to determine how much drag is "on" until you test the tension. Outside of that it performed as well as my more expensive reels. Lets face it, reels are just a place to hold the line and the more expensive ones don't do that any better than the inexpensive ones. Good product for the money.

Pretty Nice Little Reel

So I bought a reel after reading the reviews on here for my 3 wt because my other reel broke before a trip. There is nothing special about this reel but it functions great.
The only thing I didnt like was that there is no audible click while reeling in slack line which i have become accustom to on my orvis reels.
Overall, a great little reel and most definitely worth the money. Best reel in the price category hands down!
