Cabela's Locking Fly Boxes

Boxes feature molded interlocking feet which allow you to snap two together to store comfortably in your vest. Lids have a positive snap so they won't open unexpectedly. Perfect storage for small to medium-sized flies. Constructed of high-density, space-age material and available in three different compartment variations. Each measures 4-3/8" x 3-1/2" x 3/4".

a versatile fly box

This is a nicely sized, inexpensive- but- durable, fly box. The ability to join 2 boxes together is its most useful feature, enabling me to carry my two most used types of flies in one pocket. It's light, easy to open, holds a good number of smaller trout flies--convenience at a great price.

Great little box

I love these little boxes, have been using them for years. They come in three different compartment configurations which allows me to easily sort flies by size & type. I can snap a pair of appropriate selections together easily for a days fishing & stick them in the pocket of my Cabela's fishing shirt, Leaders & accessories in the other pockets. For example, in early spring season I can snap together a box of weighted nymphs with a box of caddis wets & dries. A little later in the season it's a box of unweighted nymphs matched to a box of spring dry flies, latter in the season it will be terrestials, etc. Using these boxes & a Cabela's fishing shirt I no longer bother with a vest or fanny pack & can really go light. I'll keep a loaded supply of boxes in a shoebox in my car, so if I guess wrong, it only takes a trip back to my vehicle to correct to error, Love 'em!
