Not Just for Carp

I purchased the kit over a year ago, and have caught many carp. The book serves as an excellent guide. I have found that if the trout are not biting well , tie on one of the rust colored bead heads with rubber legs and hold on tight. I have taken rainbows up to 23 inches on them. What a great kit!!

I ordered the book with the carp flies. A reservoir near my home is loaded with carp, so I read the book and went fly fishing for carp. I caught several large carp using the fly with a rust brown body and silver beady eyes. The fly is in good shape after being used extensively. The information in the book about carp fly fishing is very helpful.
