    when things are slow on the stream Pistol Pete always comes thru. The flash from the propeller I think does the job.

    caught a 10lb steelhead out of trail creek, a tributary of lake michigan, on an old chartreuse pistol pete i picked up in colorado a few years ago.

    Great for Eastern Sierra's

    Used these in streams up in the Eastern Sierra's with great success. I also trolled them in the lakes with a small split shot weight. I'm not a fly fisherman but was able to make these work with a regular spinning reel and light line.
