With 30% more knot strength than off-brand fluorocarbon line, high-density Red Label line offers bite-detecting sensitivity and premium, impact- and abrasion-resistant durability. It's made with 100% fluorocarbon resins and Seaguar's exclusive extrusion process for high-strength toughness and softness. Clear fluorocarbon is virtually invisible to fish and much less visible underwater than traditional monofilament lines. Rated for fresh- or saltwater fishing. UV- and chemical-resistant.

Excellent ...Saltwater Use

I purchased this line on a whim. Good buy. I find this line to cast extremely well (Garcia Baitcaster); does not backlash; very little stretch; and seems a lot stronger than the # rating. I have begun to switch all of my reels to this line. Great line.. Great value.

I don't know why the differance in reviews.Didn't matter how I put it on the spool as soon as I opened the bail it would jump off in a tangled up mess.Been fishing 50 years worst line I ever had

At least not for spinning reel

Tried 12lb test on a spinning reel. I never even made it out the house. Line very stiff and hard to manage. After spooling the line it would jump off the reel on it's own. Tangled and twisted up badly. I tried a few cast in the yard trying to get it to settle down. Was a disaster, stripped it back off reel. Going to attempt to return it.

if you are looking for a good Fluorocarbon Line
line, then you owe it to yourself to try this out. i just got done fishing for Steelhead in the river with the 12 LB version and was sold after the 7th fish brought in with out any damage to the line at all. and the price can not be beat by any of the Main Brand guys. try it, and you'll see....great product
