If you're looking for a float with a lot of flexibility, then consider the Center Slider. This float is a great all-around balsa float for moderate-depth and deeper slow-flowing rivers or still water. Per 6.
Sizes: 2-1/4", 2-3/4", 3-3/8", 3-7/8", 4-3/8", 4-7/8".
Glow sizes: 3-3/8", 4-3/8".
I have used the 2-1/4", 2-3/4" and 3-3/8" sizes. I really love the 3-3/8" size which is the right size for about 1/4 oz of weight and has a small top hole just big enough for the line so you do not need to use a bead between the stop and the floater. The other two sizes I have used have the the same size hole all the way through and you need a bead with them. The orange and yellow top is easy to see and I think the wood bottom looks like a piece of drifting wood to the fish. The tapered shape makes very little splash and is easy to pull over a limb.
I use this float for any type of fish. Again I recomend th dog bone bobber stops. You can set this float fo 12 to 15 feet deep and use a split shot just light enough to no sink bobber this will allow your bait to fall fast to get by those little bait stealers. Try this you will see a big difference between size you normally catch with bobbers
I have been using these floats for at least 5 years, and find them to be the best. They cast easily, even in windy conditions, and are highly visible. Strikes and hits are readily apparent. I use them exclusively in my small guiding business.
