    great starter kit

    I bought this assortment last year for the beginning of trout season and found it all worked great until i actually started fishing and got flies caught in trees. Now that's my own fault. My suggestion would be to buy the assortment with the box and then 2 or 3 more of just the assortment and you should be good. This is a great starter kit and would reccomend it to anyone!

    Can't say enough good things about the fly-assortment. I teach the fishing and fly-fishing merit badges for the Boy Scouts in our Troop. As well as other merit badges. I have over 40 years of fishing experience all over. East Coast , West Coast, small stream and lakes. Even Alaska. Keep up the good work at Cabela's. I will continue to shop for good values for our Scouts.
