Jo-Jan Multi Fletcher

The Multi-Fletcher is the ultimate tool for competition shooters who need to build custom creations but don't have a lot of time to spend. A heavy-duty aluminum jig holds six clamps for gluing vanes or feathers in your choice of three positions - right- or left-helical or straight. This unit is capable of adjustments for 3- or 4-fletch configurations. The straight model adjusts up to 2º for right or left offset placement with 120º spacing. Right- and left-helical models allow up to an 11º helix on each vane/feather with 75º-105º spacing. Includes: Six clamps and Six reversible nock receivers.

The instructions on this are absolutely abismal. I had high hopes that I would be able to fletch ny own arrows. However, the device will not hold the fletching flush against the shaft. The instructions indicate that the user needs to use a "...piece of discarded fletching..." to hold the new fletching in place. C'mon, they can't make it work without a kludge? No matter what I tried, it simply doesn't work. Being an engineer, I am certain that I can design my own jig that will actually work. Really disappointed. This one's going back...

EXTREMELY HARD TO USE

I have had this unit for 12 years and regret buying it. Maybe they are better now but I doubt it. The vane clamps will not hold the entire vane flush to the shaft no matter how you try to set it up. You push harder and it only unseats the arrow, ruining your setup. I have tried gently grinding the clamps to allow the vanes to seat better but it only helped a little. For the money I expected a better product. I actually gave up trying to fix my arrows with this and have just been buying new. Time to try another product.
