Burt Coyote Lumenok X Lighted Arrow Nocks

The Lumenok X lights up instantly with shot inertia and stays lit, so you can track your arrow to your target and find it easily after dark. It glows for up to 40 hours or until switched off, and it only adds 16 grains to the total weight of your arrow. It replaces the nock of the ST Axis, ST Axis Obsession, Black Max MFX and MAX-4 MFX.

In those early & late hunts, the Lumenok gives you the ability to follow the arrow too, and thru the target. Great to know exactly where my arrow hits.

I bought the three pack of this product and cannot get any of them to function. I have had the ends of the arrows squared. when I went to remove them from my arrows, due to their defective nature, Two of them broke off in my arrow. The idea is great and watching your arrow in flight is awesome. but product refinement should be done by the manufacturer instead of required for the consumer.

The lighted nock is a terrific idea, and when they work properly they are a valuable tool. However, as stated in many reviews on this website and elsewhere, the lumenok requires a substantial amount of work to get it to function properly. I use an arrow squaring device on both ends of the shaft prior to fletching, so this is not a problem. The trick is getting the correct fit betweeen nock and shaft. I had to slowly sand down the nocks until the fit was perfect, and unfortunately perfect is the only way they will work. If the fit is too tight, they will not light, and if you take off just a little too much, the nocks will fall out of the shaft. For the price of this product, I feel the manufacturer should include a tool to prep the inside of the shaft and the outside of the nock to provide a reliable, consistent fit.
