Bohning Blazer Vanes – Specialty Colors

  • Boost in extended-range broadhead accuracy
  • 2" long
  • Weigh a mere 6 grains each
  • Maximize the speed potential of your setup
At just 2" long and weighing a mere 6 grains each, these vanes use a combination of super-strong material and precise leading-edge angle to stabilize even the largest fixed-blade broadheads. You'll maximize the speed potential of your setup and be astounded a vane so small in stature can give you such a boost in extended-range broadhead accuracy. In independent testing, broadhead and field-point impacts were virtually identical at 30 yards. Per 36.
Colors: Hardwoods HD, Orange Tiger, White Tiger, Yellow Tiger.

Efficiency at it's finest!
Date:
I'm an engineer by trade, so aerodynamics and fluid mechanics are a way of life for me. The efficiency of the Blazer vanes is top notch. I get fantastic steerage for arrow stability, but minimize cross-wind drag effects, as well as minimize weight, without compromizing for durability (i.e. feathers are lighter, but fragile).
The wind blows here in Kansas, so hunting in a cross-wind is something we deal with regularly. Blazers have the smallest side profile of any vane out there, offering the least drift in a cross wind. Having less wind drag on my tail means 1) my arrow drifts less in a cross-wind, and 2) my arrow stays more stable in flight.
I run a 1degree "Straight" fletch on most of my arrows, and deliver palm sized groups at 60yrds with ease. These vanes deliver. They're easy to see, they look great, and they fly straight. My arrows are fast, stable, and easy to find.
What more can you ask for?

Blazer vanes

These are great vanes. They set up very well with my jig and they are durable when shot through a whisker biscuit. The shoot consistently tight groups out to 40 yds. I hope they come out with more color options in the future.

broadheads love blazers
Date:
I am a accuracy stickler and practice with broadheads out to 60 yards, but won't shoot at game past 40. The blazers I shoot are fletched with a bitzenberger and a right helical clamp. There is not alot of twist in the vane due to its short length, but there's enough to make a very accurate twist to your arrow flight. I love them! To test them after you paper tune and for fun shoot a lighted tracer nock at low light at 60 yards and you will see the arrow gives you a perfect arc no fish tailing if tuned properly. Great poduct.
