Truly the original, the 6P was the first hand-held flashlight ever produced by SureFire. Initially manufactured in 1987, it has consistently remained the best seller, and today is the rock-solid cornerstone of the now legendary SureFire Personal Light series. All of its parts are machined from top-quality aerospace-grade aluminum. It boasts a hexagonal anti-roll bezel, patented lock-out tail cap and virtually unbreakable Lexan lens. It's powered by two 123 lithium batteries (included) and operates with an innovative P60 lamp assembly that produces an astonishingly bright 65 lumens of light, with a 60-minute run time. The 6P Defender has the same performance features as the 6P Classic with a crenelated Strike Bezel™ for enhanced self-defense capabilities and a click-on/off tailcap. Batteries included. Xenon bulb.

This small flashlight is very bright and comes with batteries included. It doesn't roll off the hood of my truck either. And it fits in typical belt carry flashlight holders or in my sling pack or jacket pocket.

Have had this light for several months now. I am a wild boar hunter in Germany and a good flashlight is an absolute must because we night hunt and need a good light for tracking after the shot. This light is outstanding. Great amount of light from a small package. Almost indestructible. Dropped it onto a concrete driveway and it sustained only a small ding in the aluminum. I compared the light output of this (65 lumens) with a 130 lumen LED light of a competetor and this light blew it away. I especially like the more natural light of the Xenon bulb...the LED is too white for my liking and gives false color perception sometimes. Only complaints would be...wish it lasted longer (I get more than the 60 min...but I wish it lasted 2 hours) and I wish the on/off switch was near the front of the light...Minor complaints, really. Plus MADE IN THE USA....!!
