80 lumen cree flashlight

Got the light and it worked well until I dropped it several times. Totally quit working. After 5 months of messing with it I tried to take the head off. As I was cranking I saw light for a second, so I cranked back the other way and the light stayed on. I guess the connection was loose and just needed tightening. Works great again.

bright but not reliable

right out of the box the light would only work if i held down the button. a few months later i picked it up and it worked fine then after i changed the batteries it would't even turn on. i hooked the swich up to my multimeter and it turns out the switch is bad.

Great Light if you're lucky

I ordered 2 sets of the 50 yr anniversary model. Each set came with 3 various and smaller models of Cree lights. Out of the 6 flashlights I got, only 3 worked flawlessly. The tail light switches were poorly made and the light was intermittent.
Cabela offered to replaced therm, so hooray for Cabela - they were great.
Boo and hiss to the factory that designed and made the switches. Other than the switch, the light itself is very solid and the light is pretty powerful when it works.
Cabela's terrific return policy saved me on this sale.
If you buy this light, remember Cabela's return policy.
